UNIFORM
All uniform pieces are available for purchase from Central Dance Supplies, 12 Doveton Street North, Ballarat.
Black or Orange singlet and or crop style tops can be worn in any of our dance classes, any age group (excluding Ballet)
Black high waisted shorts and leggings can be worn in any of our dance classes, any age group (excluding Ballet)
Black tracksuit and shorts are only to be worn by Hip Hop students and male students.
Ballet uniform (including tights) is compulsory. This uniform may also be worn by Contemporary students.

All T-Shirts are available for purchase through SMDS where uniform orders are placed at the beginning of each term
#theSMDSdifference T-Shirts can be worn in any dance class but are compulsory for Hip Hop students.
'The Mini Society' T-Shirts are for our pre-school students only
'Lil' Dance Society' T-Shirts are for our Lil' Dance students only
All Hoodies and Jackets are available for purchase through SMDS where uniform orders are placed at the beginning of each term
Jackets are compulsory for Competition Team members, but are an option for all SMDS dancers
Hoodies are an option for all dancers, and are great for the cold winter months!
We ask that all hair below shoulders is tied back in a neat ponytail and those above shoulders is out of the dancers face.
Ballet students will be required to wear their hair in a neat ballet bun. Please see below video tutorial. For safety reasons, we ask that students do not wear jewellery to class.
We as a team believe a ‘tried and tested’ and ‘one size fits all approach’ just doesn’t suit everyone and know that every student is unique, so to ensure everyone gets to find a style that suits them.
We offer a FREE TRIAL CLASS for all new students and for all existing students wishing to try a new style
