You may have seen Catherine onstage around Ballarat as dance captain in various musicals but most recently she in involved as dance captain in Ballarat Lyrics ‘WE WILL ROCK YOU’.

 

Catherine has grown up dancing her whole life, she first met Soraya McKee back in 2005 when Soraya was her assistant, but Catherine’s love for ballet began later than most. 

Catherine was introduced to ballet as a teen under the training of Jade Naidu. 

 

Since then Catherine’s love for ballet has grown, completing exams in both Cecchetti and ATOD. Catherine has been teaching for six years, after taking a small break during the pandemic to focus on her health and working as a nurse she is so excited to get back into the studio. 

 

Catherine has experience teaching ballet, jazz, musical theatre and contemporary, but her main passion as always been ballet. Aswell as choreography many junior musicals. Catherine’s biggest accomplishment as a ballet teacher was directing and choreographing her first ballet “BEAR AND THE BOW” in 2018.
